Ashley Ashe lives and works in upstate New York, where she makes Waldorf dolls by hand from recycled and natural materials, including wool she felts herself and hair sourced from her neighbor's horse, Mustang. A Waldorf teacher by training, Ashley brings the same intention to her making that she brings to her classroom: that what a child holds matters, and that beauty and simplicity are not opposites of quality. Each doll is one of a kind, shaped by hand and finished with care. They are made to be loved, carried, and grown up alongside.
