The rakatak is a percussion instrument that originated in Ghana. It is made of several calabash gourd shells attached to a long, narrow piece of wood joined to another thicker piece of wood at a 90-degree angle. All your little one has to do is hold the handle and rock it back and forth in an up and down motion to create a unique sound sure to delight!
